My Philosophy…

I consider myself more than anything a cake artist, my vision is to create edible art that tastes amazing. It is most important for me to design a cake that is totally a perfect fit for each individual client.

My personal philosophy is that a wedding cake artist can not be limited by his or her price structure. Meaning that when I sit down with a couple, 99% of my designs are included in my base price for fondant or traditional iced cakes. That way I have the freedom to sketch out a design that fits a vision we build together without adding on for every little detail. I love what I do and hold the “cake artist” title close to my heart.

My Experience…

I have been decorating cakes since I was 19 (and not to age myself… but that was 18 years ago) throughout those years I have done literally thousands of wedding cakes and even more special occasion cakes !

I opened the doors at Tamara’s “the Cake Guru” in 1997. I have won numerous awards, been included in Nation Wide press. But most importantly I have worked with amazing fun couples and clients creating cakes for their once in a lifetime events. Read more in my About Me page
